She survived the surgery, but she is NOT happy with us right now.
Poor baby, she's in pain.
Luckily she has drugs which seem to help a little.
Did I mention she is NOT happy?

I am a writer, blogger and columnist in Portland, Oregon where I live with my wife Cher and our three teenage daughters. The estrogen in our house sometimes reaches toxic levels. I am a recent graduate of Portland State University and begin graduate studies forthwith in the MFA program for Creative Nonfiction. I hope to finish graduate school before my children do. Cher and I recently acquired a Macgregor 26X sailboat because our lives were way too stagnant and boring and we had nothing to spend money on. It's an adventure that neither of us are prepared for and therefore, should be interesting. My wife claimed to always think that our dog was a pain in the ass. Which she is. Then we had her fixed. I went to pick her up at the vet's and was told she needed to stay overnight, (next to the guinea pig on life-support and I'm not kidding about that), and when I got home and told the family that the dog would be back in the morning, my wife ran down to the vets and stayed until they threw her out at 11 pm. Apparently getting spayed brings out the best in your owners.
poor Ginger...what the heck do ya do for a doggy in pain? hope she's feeling better soon!

RSG, I know you love your "dog" Ginger and I can appreciate that but the poor thing looks so ashamed to be a dog.
I think Ginger wants to be a cat.

Sorry I have been away so long. I have been pulled in many directions. Poor Ginger I hope she is feeling better soon. Of course she is mad at you, you let someone cut her. She will get over it.

I'm buying a boat. I'm launchin' out of Newport, RI. Headin' down the intercoastal, through the Panama Canal, stoppin in Baja for some booty, sailin' up the coast, stoppin' in San Fran for Kitty Treats and Rain Gear.
Up the coast in my junk I sail. During a driving rainstorm-like there's any other kind out there-I hide behind your bushes...with my little treats and a dead Eastern Seagull...

She may be upset. Still, that Ginger's a brave one. Who among us could smile like that after having our nether regions, uh, snipped, or whatever it is they do when they "fix" animals. Seriously, you need to be thinking "modeling agencies" for this cutie.
Poor Ginger. She sure is cute though. What kind of dog is shes? I ask because I'm looking for a good doggie.
Now you give that cutie a kiss for me! Her mommy parts will feel better soon!

LOL Snap, Ang?? hee hee...poor Pup, she'll be good as new soon. It made for a less nerosis in our fur family when Dutch was finally fixed.

Ginger is just darling, but poor poor baby. I am thinking of having the human version of the same operation so I may soon be in the same boat as Ginger. Yikes!
