I am a writer, blogger and columnist in Portland, Oregon where I live with my wife Cher and our three teenage daughters. The estrogen in our house sometimes reaches toxic levels. I am a recent graduate of Portland State University and begin graduate studies forthwith in the MFA program for Creative Nonfiction. I hope to finish graduate school before my children do. Cher and I recently acquired a Macgregor 26X sailboat because our lives were way too stagnant and boring and we had nothing to spend money on. It's an adventure that neither of us are prepared for and therefore, should be interesting. sandgirl, I'm more of a lover not a fighter. But I do tend to argue quite a bit.
Actually I've never been in a "fight-fight" unless you count the time I slapped my XH's arm because he called me a bitch;then backhanded me across the face and split my lip open. Does that count?
I love Gwen Stefani. Her CD is on constant repeat in my car. I mean, it's ridiculous. My husband is like "seriously, again?" Fuck him, it's my car. LOLOLOL.
Have you seen her legs in the Hollaback Girl vid? The girl is unreal looking. No cellulite. Bitch.
totally hetero and I agree, she is hot... but she crosses some lines sometimes that make me wonder...
I really liked No Doubt back in the day, she is a nonconformist, like me- although I'm totally OLD & MELLOW now.

She was SO F-ING GOOD ON ELLEN! It was fun to see her, she sounded great, and she looked fantastic. Hooray! I thought a hollaback girl was a girl who came running when a guy called... like in that Fabolous song. I'm so white. And old. Sheesh!
