If it's not one thing,

then my dog dies.

Yes, I'm still having a hard time about Macy.
I hate coming home to my empty house.

LBCG and I went to look at two puppies that someone listed on Craigslist. He bought them from a breeder in Arizona and doesn't have time for them. Well after we looked at them and wanted them, he said that he needed to talk to his kids one more time and make sure that they wanted to part with them. Well, after waiting for three days, he e-mailed me last night saying that they decided to keep them afterall.

Bummer. But I know that the right little friend is out there for us somewhere so I guess I just need to be patient.
I just don't like being patient.

DD#1 did not make the Classic Basketball team; she was bummed but handled it quite maturely. Her birthday party is probably going to be rescheduled because so many of her friends can't make it due to a soccer tournament. She is more bummed about that.

I hurt my back moving rocks last Sunday.
I started my period yesterday and have HORRIBLE cramps.
Overall, my week sucks so far.

If you were looking for a fun, chipper post, I'm afraid I can't deliver today.
Hope you all have had a better week.
Ciao.

Poor girl! It'll get easier ;o)
What kind of dog are you looking for?? There are breed specific rescues that you could look into, almost evry breed in fact. I had no idea of that until I got into it myself...........just an idea ;o)
Hope your week gets better soon!

Sorry you're feeling so poorly :(

This nurse recommends 2 extra strength Tylenol plus 3-4 ibuprofen every 6 hours, PLUS a heating pad (to give you 50% more pain relief than just the drugs alone!)

Sending hugs and loads of fine cyber chocolate for the emotional doldrums.

Feel better soon--emotionally AND physically.

I know you didn't ask, but our Whippet is the best dog ever, ever, ever, just don't tell our other dog. He is all about the love. Sorry you're feeling so crappy. Aunt Flo can be a real hooker ass bitch.

Sassy, Thanks... I really want a small little fuzzy lap dog puppy. I want a puppy so that it will bond well with the girls, God willing this will be the only other pet they have in their childhood, and Macy and Rudder could have cared less about them, because I had them first. Otherwise, I would be all about rescuing a pet.

Michelle: Thanks I'm doing one better, I'm mixing Ibuprofen with 500 mg of vicodin. It's a good thing!

Sarah: Thanks, and thanks for stopping by.

Kami: I'm sure he's great, I just really have my heart set on a little fuzzy lap dog. And yes, Aunt Flo IS a HAB. I don't think that I should have to have a period anymore; I'm not having any babies.

Pissy: Thanks sweetie. Hugs back you HAB.

Hi! I see you at Kristine's all the time and decided to drop by!

First of all I want to say how sucky it is that Macy passed away. Pets dying is about the suckiest thing in the world.

Now, I'm a little peeved that the guy offered the dogs and then his kids changed their minds...not nice.

Here's to hoping that you find the right pooch for you! Feel free to come visit me at The Kept Woman! :)
