About Me
- Name: Kathryn
- Location: Portland, Oregon
I am a writer, blogger and columnist in Portland, Oregon where I live with my wife Cher and our three teenage daughters. The estrogen in our house sometimes reaches toxic levels. I am a recent graduate of Portland State University and begin graduate studies forthwith in the MFA program for Creative Nonfiction. I hope to finish graduate school before my children do. Cher and I recently acquired a Macgregor 26X sailboat because our lives were way too stagnant and boring and we had nothing to spend money on. It's an adventure that neither of us are prepared for and therefore, should be interesting. Well I am a recovered lurker. So I have occasional lurking relapses. I forgot to tell you that one of my cats has a 2 tone nose, which of course is my favorite feature on her, I think youwould like it too.

I lurked for one day then posted a comment on the baby shower post :) I can only post from work right now and will be leaving at noon today and off Monday but will eagerly be back Tuesday morning to see what your week-end was like!

My name is Zoe, and I am a lurker. Way to call us out.
I am not a lurker, well, by definition a hippo does kinda lurk around a water hole. I've been too busy to read the Westerns. I loved the post after this, chronologically that is, the descriptions of marriages and accompanying psychosis. Relationships are certainly interesting things, power brokering possibly, in the worst cases I guess. I don't know, I've lived alone for so long I'm coming to enjoy it. I don't dig the chicks that want "commitments" or "move-ins" or that crap. What is up with that Girls, why cant ya leave a good thing alone! Why can't you live there, I live here and the relationship is over there somewhere....geez I hate that part of the relationship...its the goddamn "..we need to talk" bit. If you don't move in I gotta move on. I can think of a couple of ex's I ran into who got their fucking wish and are woe be me fuckin' miserable. My Life...My terms...Deal baby deal.
