Back from the deep woods!

And we are all safe and sound; didn't see one sign of Big Foot, although I may have gotten a glimpse of the Lockness Monster in this lake:

This was our campsite.

The girls had a GREAT time canoeing,

and swimming in the lake.

They fought over who got to do the dishes every night!

Tuesday morning it rained. DD#1 and I made a shelter out of the room divider from our tent and the oars from the canoe. We read and snacked while watching the many, many chipmunks who ran around looking for treats from us.

This is my friend Darcy, having a glass of fine wine by the lake at sunset.

Mt. Hood at sunset.

Roasting marshmellows. DD#2 wore her swim goggles to keep the smoke out of her eyes.

Another Mt. Hood sunset picture. It was so lovely.

This is me this morning. Three days with NO shower. Don't I look great?

When we got home, we were so, so, so dirty. I truly don't believe I have EVER been that dirty in my life. I took a very, very, long shower!

So, no bear attacks, no Big Foot; just a lot of dirt! But a successful trip and fun was had for all!

Welcome back Woo.

Glad you had a good time & that you didn't see Big Foot.

Remember when we went to St. Helens looking for him? We didn't find him or ST. Helens that day.

You found a beautiful area to see Hood though.

Oh, man your boobs look huge in that last picture;-)

Welcome back!!!!!!!

Welcome back! It looks like you all had a great time, even the "demon formerly known as DD#3"! You photos make me nostagic...the last time we went camping Critter was 5 months, I was puking from morning sickness, and Yosemite broke attendance records. We haven't been brave enough to go again as a fam.

Danielle: Thank, you SHOULD go on vacation!

I got spammed on my comments...not as many as Lelo though!

D: It was only because we were camping, it was a novelty, believe me! Oregon is very far away from you; you would need to fly. Just go on expedia.com, we'll pick you up at the airport!

MMC: morning sickness and camping do not mix. Try again when you're done popping out babies...

Lelo: Close to Clear Lake; we were actually at Timothy Lake which is a little farther out. It's about 10 miles off of 26 so it's a lot more secluded. It was quite lovely. And yes, that is exactly how you increase your bust size, with dirt.

Soozie: Thanks, it was fun.

Kami: Thanks Kami!

Angie: it was lovely, and yes, my boobs are huge.

Pissy: I'm already starting the laundry for packing for the next adventure.

Blu: Yes that is when they start, we're probably looking at not next week but the following week; maybe on Wednesday? Let's chat...

Toady Joe: Thanks, I try to just give an overall synopsis of my adventures!

What a beautiful, picturesque place. I love the sight of tall trees, we don't have them here, and I miss them! Three days w/o a shower? I couldn't do it. Okay, I couldn't camp. We joke that Hampton Inn is camping for me! :) Glad you all had a good time!

Am I the only one that thinks that first pic of the lake looks like the lake in Friday the 13th? Welcome home!!!

Sassy: I'm a pretty wimpy girl but I do enjoy camping once in awhile. I did "freshen up" with baby wipes every day. I'm not a complete die-hard!

Monkey: Thanks, can't wait to see you soon! We need to put Kristine and her cruise director self in charge of working in a "sit down" for us...

SFG: Actually I think I did see Jason, from Friday the 13th. He was riding on the Lockness Monster looking for Big Foot.
